What Makes TryRDP Worth Choosing

Here is what you are actually getting when you buy an RDP plan from us, explained plainly without the marketing fluff.

Actual Administrator Access

A lot of providers say admin access but give you a restricted account that fails the moment you try to install something serious. On every TryRDP plan you get the Windows Administrator account. That means you can install software, change registry keys, set firewall rules and configure the server exactly as you need.

NVMe Storage Across the Board

We use NVMe drives on every plan, including the cheapest one. The difference compared to a standard SSD or an old spinning hard drive is noticeable in day-to-day use. Windows boots faster, applications open quicker and file operations do not cause lag in your session.

Protected Servers, Reliable Uptime

DDoS mitigation runs at the network level across all 12 locations, not just on selected plans. Our datacenters are Tier III and IV certified with redundant power and cooling. In 2024 our average uptime across all locations was 99.97%.

Pay How You Like, Refund If You Need

We accept credit cards, PayPal, Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT. Crypto orders go through automatically without any ID check. If the server is not right for you, you have 72 hours to ask for a full refund with no questions and no credit-only policies.

Support That Knows Windows

Our support team is made up of people who actually work with Windows Server and RDP setups, not a general helpdesk reading from a script. Average first response is under two hours. You also get Virtualizor access to reboot or rebuild your server yourself if you prefer.

Common Reasons People Buy RDP

Most of our 50,000 customers fall into one of these categories. If your use case is not listed here, feel free to ask us before you order.

Forex and Crypto Trading

Forex and Crypto Trading

Running MT4 or MT5 on a home PC means downtime every time you restart or lose power. On an RDP the terminal stays open around the clock. Our London and Singapore servers are popular with Forex traders specifically because of the low latency to major broker infrastructure.

Web Development and Testing

Web Development and Testing

Developers use RDP to test applications in a clean Windows environment that is completely separate from their main machine. You get full admin rights so there is nothing stopping you installing any runtime, framework or database you need.

Automation and Long-Running Scripts

Automation and Long-Running Scripts

Tasks that need to run overnight or for days at a time are a natural fit for a remote server. You can install Selenium, Puppeteer, Python or any other tool with no restrictions, and the job keeps running whether your laptop is open or not.

Remote Work and Business Tools

Remote Work and Business Tools

A lot of people use RDP to keep their business software in one place that they can reach from any device. CRM systems, reporting tools, email clients and office applications all run cleanly on a dedicated Windows server.

Streaming and Video Encoding

Streaming and Video Encoding

Encoding video on your own machine takes up resources that slow everything else down. On an RDP you get dedicated CPU and memory for the job. Our Germany plans go up to 16 cores, which is useful for anyone doing serious encoding or live streaming work.

SEO Tools and Digital Marketing

SEO Tools and Digital Marketing

Running rank trackers, scrapers and marketing tools all day on a laptop is not practical. An RDP keeps them running in the background without slowing down your main computer, and you can check in from anywhere.

About TryRDP

We have been running RDP servers since 2018

TryRDP started in 2018 because the people who built it kept running into the same problem: providers either locked down the admin access, oversold the hardware, or charged far too much for something basic. We launched with two datacenter locations and grew from there based entirely on word of mouth.

We own and operate our own hardware rather than reselling capacity from a larger provider. The Windows installs on our servers are genuine Microsoft licensed copies. Our technical team holds MCSE and CCNP certifications and the support staff actually know how to troubleshoot RDP issues rather than just logging tickets.

Questions We Get Asked a Lot

If your question is not here, open a support ticket and we will get back to you within two hours.

It means you get the Windows Administrator account, which is the top-level account on any Windows machine. With it you can install software that requires elevated privileges, make changes to the Windows registry, configure the firewall, create other user accounts and adjust any system setting. Some providers advertise admin access but give you a standard user with a few extra permissions that fail when you try anything serious. That is not what we do.

Three main reasons. First, the server stays on all the time so any task that needs to run overnight or continuously, like a Forex terminal or an automation script, keeps going whether your machine is on or not. Second, you get dedicated resources that are not competing with your other software. Third, the server has an IP address in the country where it is hosted, which matters if you need to appear as a US, UK or European user to the platforms you are connecting to.

Our provisioning system works automatically. Once your payment clears, it builds the server and emails you the IP address, username and password. The whole thing takes between 5 and 15 minutes for the large majority of orders. You do not need to wait for a human to process anything.

On a shared plan you get your own isolated Windows session, but the physical server underneath is shared with other users. It costs less at $7.99 per month. On a private plan the virtual machine is yours entirely, with no other customers on the same hardware. That costs from $9.99 per month. Both give you full admin access. If you are running something resource-heavy like video encoding or a lot of browser automation, a private plan will give you more consistent performance. For lighter tasks the shared plan is perfectly fine.

Pick based on what you are connecting to, not where you are sitting. If you are trading on a US broker, a US server will give you the lowest ping to their infrastructure. If you are managing European ad accounts, Netherlands or Germany will generally work better. For Southeast Asian Forex trading, Singapore is the right call. If you are unsure, drop us a message and we can advise based on your specific workflow.

Yes. Microsoft's Remote Desktop app is free on both iOS and Android and works well with our servers. On a Mac you use Microsoft Remote Desktop from the App Store. On Windows the built-in Remote Desktop Connection app connects directly. You do not need any third-party client.

Yes, every plan including the shared $7.99 option comes with a dedicated IPv4 address that belongs to your account only. You are not sharing an address pool with other customers. This is important if you need to whitelist your server IP in a trading platform, a business tool or an API.

We take credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept PayPal, Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT. Cryptocurrency orders process automatically without any ID verification. All transactions go through our client portal at my.tryrdp.com.

You have 72 hours from purchase to ask for a full refund on any plan. Contact support, tell us it is not working for you and we will process the refund the same day. There is no partial refund policy and no approval process to go through.

There are plenty of cheap RDP options out there, and a lot of them cut corners in the same ways: old HDD storage that makes sessions sluggish in one of a few places: old HDD storage that makes sessions sluggish, oversold servers where too many users share the same machine, restricted accounts that are sold as admin but block serious software, or no real support when something goes wrong. We have run this service since 2018, use NVMe storage across all plans, do not oversell our hardware and have a support team that understands what they are doing. The $7.99 entry price is low compared to most competitors without sacrificing those things.
